 The Start-up Visa Program also allows aspiring and skilled, and innovative immigrant entrepreneurs and their families to seek permanent resident status. These immigrant company owners are eligible for a temporary work permit grant while they wait for permanent residency, allowing them to go to Canada and begin working on their enterprises even before the IRCC decides your PR application. Starting as a pilot program in 2013, the Start-up Visa Program has been used by numerous international entrepreneurs in relocating their businesses to Canada, and the number of immigrants continues to grow each year.
